Deadbolt Door Locks
Deadbolt door lock involves a unique locking bolt that can only be activated by a key or a thumb turn. Unlike traditional locks, smart deadbolt door locks can be activated in various ways including keyless access devices such as tags and access cards, pin code entered into the keypad, and fingerprint scans.
There are 3 main types of deadbolt locks: Single-Cylinder Deadbolt Lock, Double-Cylinder Deadbolt Lock, and Keyless (Smart) Lock.
Deadbolt locks are considered to be more secure compared to other locks due to their unique locking mechanisms, making it more difficult for intruders to break in. Smart locks in particular, due to being keyless, also eliminate the risk of losing the keys, or having the keys end up in the wrong hands.
